The City of Delavan will celebrate the beginning of construction for the expanded and renovated Library on Saturday, July 19, 2025 beginning at 10am to 1pm. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 404 E. Walworth Avenue, Delavan, WI in the parking lot (south side of building.) FEH Design is our project architect with Corporate Contractors, Inc. as our contractor.
Along with speeches and photo opportunities, food trucks will also be available including Lefty’s Hot Dogs, Bella Joy Bakery, and Good Oak Farmstead. And, for your health, visit the Open Arms Mobile Health Bus. Farm lovers and kids can visit with a baby calf and sit on a tractor. We’ll have a raffle for a LEGO Remote Control Hauler too.
Parking is available on city streets, and at Family Dollar, Wishing Star Theater and behind the Treasury.
Please note: the library’s temporary space will be closed on Saturday, July 19th for all staff to participate in the groundbreaking celebration!
