While we resided in the temporary space, most of our collection had to be packed up and shipped into storage. Now that we are ready for all of our books and material to come back to us, we've changed the new meeting room space into an unloading station. The carts here...
Power to the Makerspace!
In the new Makerspace, aka The Garage, there are extendable power strips coming from the ceiling in order to preserve space and keep the feel of this space true to its name.
The shelving has arrived!
The shelving is being installed as I write this today! Starting from the south end of the building in the Youth department, sections will be completed moving north. Thank you to our vendor, LFI! The photo, above, features our Youth department.

Bioretention
Our architects designed a bioretention area near the outdoor patio. This type of stormwater management helps to capture the stormwater, filter the water using vegetation with ultimate break down of organic pollutants, etc. Learn more at Wisconsin DNR.
