(Image, above) Viewing from inside the library expansion build, you can see the beginnings of the Discover Zone located in the youth department! The wall build has been taking place over several days and continues. Our contractors, CCI, are taking advantage of this beautiful fall weather.
The Discover Zone is an area, located at the southernmost tip of the building, focusing on our youngest patrons, their families and caregivers. The area will hold board books, comfortable furnishings including cushioned window ledges for quiet reading, and interactive, exploratory items.
(Image, right) In viewing the wall leading into the Discover Zone, notice the three sections of the build: inner wall for steel support, middle insulation, and finally the outer wall which will be made of brick.
