Adult Subscription Box
Enjoy a specially curated collection of reading or viewing materials based around your favorite authors and/or genres. Boxes are created by our talented library staff and may include a sampling of goodies such as tea, hot chocolate, or other snacks. Stop by the library and fill out a form to start on launch day!
Book Discussion Groups
Delavan’s popular book discussions are available for you to join in person or virtually via Zoom. To register for Zoom on a date you can’t make it, just click the link in the event description or call the library at 262-728-3111. Need a copy of the book? Make a note when you register or let us know when you call. Once you’re registered, you’ll receive meeting information via email.
Thursday Night Book Club
Featuring a contemporary selection of authors in fiction and nonfiction, Thursday Night Book Club meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 6:30pm.
Social Justice Book Club
Read. Learn. Listen. Unlearn. Repeat. Social Justice meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 4:00pm.
Novel Ideas
A laid-back gathering to share what you are currently reading while sipping a yummy drink. Meetings take place at Boxed & Burlap (downtown) on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 2:15pm.
History Makers (Jan 2026 – thru September 2026)
The library is partnering with the Delavan Historical Society to host a lively, monthly history book discussion with access to the society’s historical files and objects. We’ll be meeting at the DHS building at 663 Ann Street, Delavan.
