Free Job Skill Sessions

Aram Public Library is one of the selected grant participants in Libraries Lead with Digital Skills, an initiative of ALA and the Public Library Association (PLA), sponsored by Grow with Google, the tech company’s economic opportunity initiative. Aram Public Library will use the $2,000 grant to purchase laptops and offer job seeking (socially distanced) workshops in the community both virtually and face-to-face. Sessions will be offered in English and Spanish both virtually and face-to-face.

In this workshop we also share strategies to improve your resume, tips to help you communicate effectively online, virtual interview best practices, and the latest resources from Google and other partners to help support job seekers.
