Friday, January 20th @ 10am – Fri, February 3rd @ 5pm
On display for a limited engagement are five unique maps depicting different stages of the glacial event that occurred in southeastern Wisconsin over 20,000 years ago.
The maps are reproductions from a geological survey completed by Mr. William C. Alden in 1903. Mr. Alden named the glacier “The Delavan Lobe.” The restoration of the images was done by Jack Williams, resident of Williams Bay, Wisconsin. The display can be viewed in the library’s meeting room during regular library hours beginning January 23rd through February 10, 2023.
